Summit Medical Specialists started out as Summit Obstetrics & Gynecology. Founded in 2017 by Dr. Maria Smith and Dr. Suzanne Rashidian, the practice originally focused on providing obstetric and gynecologic care to female adolescents and adults. Dr. Smith and Dr. Rashidian realized that the community had a need for comprehensive care, prompting them to start offering family medicine services, functional medicine, aesthetic services, and dermatology care. Now, male and female adolescents, as well as adults, can come to Summit Medical Specialists for personalized care.
